Well most PC's have an audio input of some kind. If not then you're out of luck.
If SO, then you basically need to make a huge WAV file of the clinic in your PC by playing the tape into that audio input, EQ and edit as needed and compress to MP3.
If this is possible for you I can respond with a more detailed walk-through. Let me know.
Sorry about the virus bro!

Are you sure that it's Tim Lefebvre on that boot leg. It sounds like it would be Tim Landers. In 1986 Tim Lefebvre would have been about 20 years old at the most!

Dude, that would be sick. That may be one of the ultimate Vinnie collector's items. What about saving it as a video CD? Somebody must know how to do that (I sure as hell don't). Incidentally, check out the pictures of Vince in the back of that MD with Steve's video review. Who took them? ME, BABY!! ME!! Sorry. I couldn't resist.

I would just like to post my 2 cents and say that it would be cool to make this Vinnie bootleg available. (OK, I admit it, I am a Vinnie FREAK!) Very generous of you to offer it, Beats!
Getting the audio over to computer format is not a big deal. As far as hardware goes, all you need is a relatively up-to-date PC and a decent sound card. For software, there are plenty of free/demo downloads available that will let you use the sound card/PC combo like a tape recorder. (Goldwave is pretty simple, and offers a free trial.) I have no experience with VCD, so I can't comment there. I think the biggest problem will be finding enough room on a server for such a media file.
